I received regular Christmas cards with updates on her life from Jane Robertson for years and kept her up to date on my family. It was sad when the cards stopped coming. Mr.Ross would ask about my Grandmother who he knew from her charity work at a camp for children. He would do it loudly enough for all to hear, which caused the obligatory touching of the end of the nose.(to imply that I was teacher's pet)It embarrased me then, but now I imagine I would literally STRUT to my seat... Glen Robertson was a very kind gentleman and always willing to explain anything that needed explaining.
